Thanksgiving and Deep Frying a Turkey with a Turkey Deep Fryer

We all know that turkey and Thanksgiving is something that goes together. You basically can't have on without the other, but the concept of deep frying a turkey just really isn't that traditional for most people and I suppose it is a little bit different. But I think you can start a new tradition where you eat a real tasty turkey that has been deep fried.

I thought I could give you the top 5 reasons, why I think you should be eating a deep fried turkey this Thanksgiving.

1. Frankly, it tastes better

Sorry mom, I wish I could say that your turkey was the best. I still love eating a baked bird, but I'm sorry to say that deep frying it tastes a lot better. When I first heard about deep frying a turkey I thought it would be crispy like a french fry or something like that, but it wasn't. It was tender, juicy and delicious. It's really one of a kind when it comes to taste.

2. It's Different

On Thanksgiving I typically eat a lot of turkey because I have to travel and eat with a lot of different people. Having the same baked turkey at every place is fine, but sometimes I just want something different. Think of your friends and family that are coming over. You want them to have something unique that sets you apart from all the people and this will definitely do it for you.

3. It's Faster

When you traditionally bake a turkey for Thanksgiving you're going to roughly cook it for a few hours. And I'm sure that is fine. But the time it takes to cook with a deep fryer is significantly less. Typically you can cook an entire bird within 30-45 minutes. Obviously that depends on the size of the turkey, but it cooks a lot faster.

4. Easier to Marinade

I know that it isn't traditional to eat a turkey with marinades and it is probably becase you can't do it while baking. Well, you have another option available to you with the deep fryer. You can actually inject the marinades directly into the turkey to give it a unique taste.

5. It Just Looks Better

When you pull a turkey out of the deep fryer it has a nice dark brown skin on it that makes it look spectacular. Everytime I've set this on the table people get really excited by the look of it. It might be hard to explain online, but it looks a lot better than a baked turkey.
